Hollyleaf Vs Stonefur by Dragon-In-A-Blue-Box Hollyleaf Vs Stonefur by Dragon-In-A-Blue-Box
To everyone saying that Hollyleaf is an original character and did everything she thought was right.

(BTW, this is mostly a pro-Stonefur post XD)

I noticed many similarities between the stories of Hollyleaf and Stonefur.

Stonefur is like Hollyleaf, but done right.

Stonefur went through worse scenarios, but ended up better.

Stonefur is one of the best characters in the series.

But why don't as many people like Stonefur than Hollyleaf?

I am stumped.

(I literally drew this in half an hour XD)

EDIT:

Guys, Hollyleaf is not a badass.
She ran away from her problems. That is the weakest and most pathetic thing someone can do.

Stonefur is a badass. He faced his problems head-on.

You like Hollyleaf because of her tragic past? Stonefur's is miles more tragic if that's all you look for in a character!

I like both of them, but Hollyleaf did die as a hero. She protected Ivypool and died instead. o-o

Okay, maybe Stonefur died more like ''heroish'' and was more stable through his life, Hollyleaf took the news ,about Leafpool being her mother, more (okay MUCH more) sad/angryish. But it's diffrent for everybody i guess. Though Hollyleaf did regret that she was so mad/angry/mean to Leafpool and everybody... But i still like em' both ovo

Hollyleaf is probably liked more because of her appearance in the books, and because she thought she was part of the ancient prophecy "Three of your kin etc etc etc stars." I still liked Stonefur better than her though.

Plus Hollyleaf complains too much B3

One word: drama.

I don't like her personally, I just drew her once since her design is really easy lmfao

I love Stonefur and hate Hollyleaf. I think the reason she's liked better is because she was seen more in the books than Stonefur. Stonefur wasn't much of a 'main character' like Holly was. Both died a 'hero' (saving Ivypool, saving Feather and Storm) and forgave their mothers before one died, so they're very similar, but Stonefur was done better. She ran away from her clan and Stone stayed and died saving his clan-mates. He should get more credit.

I think the reason people like Hollyleaf better is because she has gotten more development and she was one of the main characters in the Power of Three series and she had her own Short story which is I bet you already know it's called Hollyleaf's Story which *SPOILER ALERT* developed her character and her feelings about the whole "Squirrelflight isn't my mother" thing and how she regretted trying to feed Leafpool deathberries and telling the big secret at the gathering.

nah

there's good development where the character goes through believable changes
then there's the writer trying to fit every tragic hero trope possible into one character
